Hi, I’m Tolu Rachael Akisanya, a London-based PR and awards strategist, and the founder of tra Publicity — a boutique consultancy championing bold, culturally resonant storytelling across film, television, literature, art, and culture.

At tra Publicity, I work with filmmakers, studios, authors, artists, and creative organisations to build campaigns that connect deeply, not just for visibility, but for long-term impact, community connection, and cultural legacy.

 

I bring hands-on experience in talent PR, profile-building, B2B and B2C campaigns, festival strategy, and awards campaigning. From major red carpets and national press to grassroots screenings and niche, purpose-driven projects, I’ve led and supported campaigns that put these stories in front of the right audiences, across the UK and internationally.

 

I work at the intersection of strategy, culture, and care — where bold storytelling meets thoughtful positioning and real community connection. My approach centres influence, purpose, and legacy, with a deep focus on Black British and diaspora networks.
